300 turn out to say 'Goodbye' to Sr. Catherine

About 300 people stopped at Queen's Court in New Prague to wish Sister Catherine McInnis, OSB, well as she heads into retirement. Sister Catherine, then known as Sister Alverna, was one of eight Benedictine sisters who helped open Queen of Peace Hospital 58 years ago.

She has served in the business office and in the hospital chaplain's office. Dr. George Winn of the hospital's board of directors and Mary Klimp, CEO of the hospital, were among those who spoke during a short program.

Sister Catherine said it's been a privilege to have served in New Prague for 58 years.
