Alvin Krocak, 85

Alvin Francis Krocak, 85, of Montgomery died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at District One Hospital in Faribault.

Alvin was born on June 7, 1926, in Montgomery Township, a son of Joseph and Annie (Mixa) Krocak. He enjoyed farming, gardening, playing euchre, and being with his dogs, Casey and Hunter.

He is survived by a nephew Ronald Kadrlik, Faribault; nieces Jan Langer, Faribault, and Sandy Komis, Dundas; and great-nieces Julie Smisek, Lisa Ardolf and Denise Johnson.

He was preceded in death by brothers Joe Krocak, Milo Krocak, Harry Krocak, Arnie Krocak and Emil Krocak; sisters Albina Sticha, Mabel Valek, Evelyn Brezina, Estellene Kadrlik and Elsie Grundhoffer.

Visitation will be held at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Burial is at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery.
