Ambroz honored by Big Ten

New Prague's Seth Ambroz was named the Big Ten's First Star of the Week for his performance for the University of Minnesota men's hockey team. 

Ambroz, a junior, had four goals in the weekend series against rival Wisconsin. He scored the eventual game-winner in the first period of Friday's 4-1 win and added an empty netter. On Saturday, he scored two goals, including the game-winner with 26 seconds left in regulation. 

He is the son of Bob and Sue Ambroz of New Prague.
