April 9 meeting will discuss school security

New Prague Area Schools will hold a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 in the High School Auditorium.

Topic of the meeting are the security incidents that happened with the false shooting report on Wednesday, March 20, and the false bomb threat on Thursday, March 21. 

The district’s administrators will discuss changes to protocol being implemented as a result of what was learned from the incidents.  There will also be a question and answer portion to the meeting. 

Selected middle school staff and local law enforcement personnel will also be present.
