Archers begin season

The New Prague Archery Club started it’s 2018 season with tournaments at Chaska and Chisago Lakes High School the past two weekends. This is the club’s 10th year with approximately 130 archers participating this season.

New Prague had 54 archers participate at Chaska. Top High School archers were Ryan Wetschka with a score of 278, Jessica Hagglund – 274, Kaiyah Swick – 272, Logan Biren – 271, Hunter Minor – 271, and Blake Smith – 270. The team finished third with a score of 3,213.

Middle School medal earners included Tyler Grabner with a score of 280 placing first for Middle School males and teammate Cory Schroeder second with 277. Breanna Franek took Middle School female top spot with 282, with teammate Jordan Clay second at 281. Other top Middle School archers included...
