Barten-Shaver

Cassandra Shaver and Joseph Barten announce their engagement.

Cassandra is the daughter of John and Maribeth Shaver of Delano. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in strategic communications and advertising. She is employed at an advertising agency in Minneapolis as an account executive.

Joe is the son of Fran Barten of New Prague and the late Roman Barten. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in environmental design. He is employed at the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District in Minnetonka as their cost share program specialist.

The wedding will be held at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church, Belle Plaine, on August 10, 2013.

The couple plans to reside in St. Louis Park.
