Baseball season ended by Medford
The Medford baseball team scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to defeat WEM, 3-2, Friday, May 26 in the Section 2AA opening round game played in Waterville. The Tigers, the No. 14 seed in the 15 team tourney, received a good pitching perfrormance by freshman Willie Von Ruden, who limited the Bucs to five hits. The Tigers had only five hits off WEM senior Dallas McBroom, who finished his career with 16 wins and only four losses on the mound. WEM's season ends with a 15-4 record.
