Alexis Jordan Rivers

A daughter, Alexis Jordan, was born Monday Jan. 7, 2008, to Randall and Cynthia (Smisek) Rivers, New Prague, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 17 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Lawrence and Helen Smisek and John and Alice Rivers.

Ethan Scott Harms

A son, Ethan Scott, was born Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, to Scott and Anna (Bachman) Harms at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 22 inches long.

Grandparents are Jim and Linda Bachman of Montgomery and Doug and Jane Harms of New Prague. The baby's great-grandparents are Karen and Doug Thompson of Montgomery, Walter Procenko of Champlin, Vi Bachman of New Prague, Carolyn Harms of Le Center and Harold Peavey of Port Aransas, TX.
