Elizabeth Maria Smyth
A daughter, Elizabeth Maria, was born to Thomas and Maria (Schoeneberger) Smyth, New Prague, on Friday, May 16, 2008, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She joins one sister Mary Grace, 2.
Grandparents are Judy and Tom Schoeneberger and Barbara and Peter Smyth, all of Glencoe. The baby's great-grandparents are Olivia Cormier of Deerfield, IL, and Dorothy Smyth of Hopkins.
Grace Anne Bisek
A daughter, Grace Anne, was born to Joe and Angelica (Taylor) Bisek, New Prague, on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 20 inches long. She joins two brothers Jeffrey, 4 1/2, and Jacob, 21 months.
Grandparents are Patty and Jeff Taylor of Montpilier, OH, and Catherine Bisek of New Prague. The baby's great-grandmothers are Marguerite Taylor and Joyce Siebenaler, both of Bryan, OH.
Taylor James Akerlund
A son, Taylor James, was born to R.J. and Crystal (Goettl) Akerlund, Montgomery, on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 18 inches long.
Grandparents are Colleen and John Goettl of Montgomery and Suzy and Rich Akerlund of Eden Prairie. The baby's great-grandparents are Darlene and Robert Rezac of Elko New Market, Kenneth Goettl of Montgomery, Ade Akerlund of Lindstrom and James Whistler of Scottsbluff, NE. Julia Rezac of New Prague is Taylor's great-great-grandmother.
Lina Gwendolen and Marie Cecily Richter
Twin daughters, Lina Gwendolen and Marie Cecily, were born to Marcus and Ellen (Schubert) Richter, Kirksville, MO, on Friday, May 9, 2008, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville. Lina weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 18 1/2 inches long, and Marie weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 18 1/4 inches long. They join siblings Moritz, 4 1/2, and Leopold, 2 1/2.
Grandparents are Magdalene and Juergen Schubert and Kaete Richter, all of Zwickau, Germany. The baby's great-grandparents are Katharina Heyn of Zwickau and Anny and Rudolf Schubert of Reichenbach, Germany.
