Maxwell Paul Hanzel

Ella Sue Hanzel

Twins, Maxwell Paul and Ella Sue, were born to Paul and Jillian (Bastyr) Hanzel of New Prague, on Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Maxwell Paul weighed four pounds, seven ounces, and was 18 inches long. Ella Sue weighed four pounds, five ounces, and was 18 inches long.

Grandparents are Sue Bastyr of Prior Lake and the late Joyce Bastyr and Tom and Deb Hanzel of New Prague. Great-grandmothers are Estellene Bastyr and Hilda Bruzek, both of New Prague.

Hailey Ann Wolter

A daughter, Hailey Ann, was born to John Wolter and Crystal Jacobsen of New Prague, on Monday, June 20, 2005, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. She weighed seven pounds, three ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Nancy Jacobsen of Jordan, Don Jacobsen of St. Peter, Carmen Wolter of Clearwater, FL, and Steve Wolter of Belle Plaine. Great-grandparents are Elaine Bonnema of St. Peter, Lois and Mel Jacobsen of Mankato, Don and Sharon Jacobsen of St. Peter, Roger and Carol Paul of Belle Plaine, Dave and Sharon Wolter of Green Isle.

John Robert Kubes

A son, John Robert, was born to Brad “Butch” and Nicole (Spicer) Kubes of Montgomery on June 16, 2005, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. He weighed eight pounds, seven ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Shorty and Sandie Deutsch of Montgomery; Ron and Chris Spicer of Faribault; and Bob and Betty Kubes of Veseli. Great-grandparents are Connie Spicer of Faribault, Joe Spikers of Montgomery, and Helen Novak of Montgomery.

Peyton Hope Plaisance

A daughter, Peyton Hope, was born to Don and Cheryl (Steffen) Plaisance of New Prague, on Monday, June 13, 2005, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. She weighed seven pounds, two ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was welcomed home by her brother, Beau, 3.

Grandparents are Gary and Judy Steffen and Milt and Judy Plaisance, all of Faribault. Great-grandparents are Edith Steffen of Faribault and Margaret Zimmerman of Zumbrota.

Timothy Alexander Roneker

A son, Timothy Alexander, was born to Mark Roneker and Laura Mae Bartyzal of Montgomery, on Sunday, June 12, 2005, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. He weighed eight pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Dennis Bartyzal of New Prague and Nancy Bartyzal of Lonsdale. Great-grandparents are Mary Bartyzal of Montgomery, Laura Sorensen of Shakopee and Ginger and Carroll Stepell of Northfield.

Payton Anna Singleton

A daughter, Payton Anna, was born to Jeff and Darcy (Malecha) Singleton of Lonsdale, on Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. She weighed seven pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20 inches long. She was welcomed home by her sister, Ellie, 3.

Grandparents are Sharon Malecha of Lonsdale and the late Lester Malecha, Gay and Duane Ogren of Lakeville and Wayne and Anine Singleton of Bulington, WI.

Vanessa Rose Valek

A daughter, Vanessa Rose, was born to Shawn and Becky Valek of New Prague, on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. She weighed seven pounds, seven ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was welcomed home by her sister, Bethany, 6.

Grandparents are Tom and Marlys Amundson of Lakeville, and Dan and Bonnie Valek of New Prague. Great-grandparents are Art Amundson of Faribault and Viola Weiers of New Prague.

Cooper Alan Tietz

A son, Cooper Alan, was born to Jeffrey and Kristine (Haberman) Tietz of New Prague, on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. He weighed nine pounds, and was 21 inches long. He was welcomed home by his sisters, Ava, 5, and Audrey, 2.

Grandparents are Ferd and Elaine Haberman of Brandon, SD, and Alan and Sandra Tietz of New Prague. Great-grandparents are Jean Rybak and Ella Tietz, both of New Prague.
