Board gives superintendent favorable review
The performance of Tri-City United Superintendent Teri Preisler, was deemed very good at Monday’s monthly school board meeting.
Preisler’s favorable review came after the TCU School Board conducted Preisler’s yearly review last month, and released their results at its Sept. 12 meeting. The board rated Preisler in nine different categories, some of which that included providing leadership; informing the school board about programs, practice and problems of the district; defining the needs of the district to the board; acting as a liaison between the community and the district; overseeing financial operations and working on the district’s strategic process.
Board members rated Preisler on a scale from 1 to 5 in each category, with 1 being unacceptable and 5 meaning outstanding. Preisler’s scores ranged from 4.03 to 4.23 in all of the categories, which overall indicates very good performance.
