Board hears report on ‘no-sub’ program

New Prague High School principal Lonnie Seifert updated members of the New Prague Area School Board on a "No- Sub" pilot program at the school. The update came during an October 10 work session of the school board.

Under the program, teachers in certain classes who are absent can have lessons and assignments ready for students to work on independently rather than have a substitute teacher come in for the class. The program is generally restricted to upper-level classes with teachers who utilize certain online learning tools.
