Boy Scouts set up tree stand
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Highway 13 north next to R & R Metal Works.
A Montgomery tradition for more than 16 years, the Montgomery Boy Scouts set up their Christmas tree lot on Saturday, Nov. 18. The stand is stocked with a wide selection of freshly cut, high-quality trees, wreaths, and swags, and is staffed by enthusiastic Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and adult volunteers.
Scoutmaster Paul Turgeon said the lot is selling a nice selection of Scotch, White Pine, Balsam and Fraser trees again this year, which range from six to nine feet in height.
