Boys 5th at Missota track meet
The New Prague Trojan boys track and field team placed fifth of eight teams at the Missota Conference championships.
The Trojans had one champion. Scott Jensen won the 800 meters in a time of 1 minute, 59.07 seconds.
Prior Lake won the meet on its home track, amassing 199.5 points. Shakopee was second at 152, followed by Farmington (146.5), Hutchinson (101.5), New Prague (98), Northfield (77), Red Wing (70.5) and Holy Angels (52).
Coach Nick Meyer said the Trojans had some performances as hot as the weather.
