Boys hockey tops South St. Paul
The New Prague Trojan boys hockey team defeated South St. Paul 5-4 Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the South St. Paul Premier Hockey Tournament.
Five different Trojans scored goals in the contest. New Prague never trailed. Goals were scored by Kain Wagner, Seth Kriha, Cody Meyer, Austin Isaacson and Nick Sampson.
The Trojans will put their four-game winning streak on the line against Eagan in the semifinals at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. The Wildcats (7-2) are ranked No. 7 in Class AA. The other semifinal game will have Hastings facing Hermantown (No. 5, Class A).
