Boys show improvement at Montgomery

The New Prague Trojan boys cross country team placed 11th of 32 teams at the Montgomery-Lonsdale Invitational Thursday, Sept. 9, at Montgomery

Coach Nick Meyer said the team ran well, though they fell just short of the goal of finishing in the top 10.

Junior John Geiger led the way for the Trojans, capturing 27th place and dropping more than a minute from the time that he ran on the same course last fall. Zach Dietz showed the most improvement of any Trojan, finishing nearly two-and-a-half minutes better and also setting a personal record for a 5K race.
