Bucs place 2nd in Section 2A Volleyball

One of the best volleyball seasons in WEM history ended Saturday, Nov. 5 with a three set loss to Mayer Lutheran in the Section 2A Championship game played at MSU-Mankato. WEM finished its season with a 30-5 record, the second best record in school history. WEM was defeated by the Crusaders in the rematch of the 2015 Section 2A Championship game which the Buccaneers won. Mayer Lutheran advances to the Class A State Tournament with a 25-20, 25-8, 25-22 win over WEM. For more on the Section Tournament check out the print edition Nov. 10.
