Cecelia Skluzacek, 92
Cecelia M. Skluzacek, 92, of Lonsdale, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.
Cecelia was born January 14, 1914 in New Prague, a daughter of Frank and Anna Kubes. She was married to Frank T. Skluzacek on August 26, 1935 in New Prague and lived in the area all her life. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale and also a member of the Rosary Society.
She is survived by a son, David (Kathy) Skluzacek, Lonsdale; a daughter, Joanne (James) Smallen, Bloomington; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Marcella) Kubes and George (Judy) Kubes; sister, Camilla Slavik; sister-in-law, Anna Eva Kubes; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jerome; grandson, Lucas; and a brother, Julius.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Lonsdale.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale and on Saturday for one hour prior to the service.
