Chamber issues Scam Alert
The New Prague Chamber of Commerce has sent an email to members advising them of a possible scam.
The email, sent out Tuesday morning, stated:
“Last fall, we were notified of a possible scam alert and we have been notified again that the same person(s) are calling local New Prague businesses claiming to be a representative of the chamber. This is 100% false. Please DO NOT give this person any information and hang up immediately. The Chamber is not associated with this person and is not looking for this type of information from New Prague businesses.
Caller ID will read : Ellen Zimmerman (though different names have been given when asked) 952-337-1440
Please forward this information to any other business who would find this useful.
