City seeks grant for library addition

Plans are in the works for a possible addition to the New Prague Public Library with the latest step being taken by the New Prague City Council.

At its September 18 meeting, the council unanimously authorized city staff to move forward with a grant application from the Minnesota Department of Education. Ken Ondich, New Prague City Planner, said the matching grant would be used along with a $100,000 donation from a local family to build the addition.
