Czech Heritage Club to show film

The Czech Heritage Club of New Prague will present a Czech language movie, "Noc na Karlstejne" (Night at Karlstejn) at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the New Prague High School Auditorium, 221 12th St. NE. 

The film is 85 minutes long. It is about the Czech castle Karlstejne, where the king of the Czech lands has decreed that women, including his wife, are forbidden to live at or even visit Karlstejne. The men do all the work, including cooking and laundry. Imagine what happens when a rumor goes out that there is a woman in the castle. 

The comedy is in Czech, with English subtitles. Free will donations will be accepted. For more information call 952-758-4663.
