Dick McMahon, 54
Dick McMahon, 54, of New Prague, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at his home.
Dick was born August 14, 1958, in Mankato, to Harold "Mac" and Therese ( T h i e l e n ) McMahon. A lifelong resident of New Prague, Dick attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, New Prague High School, and Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. He was a Master Welder and worked at MVE/Chart for 35 years. Dick was a member of the New Prague Sportsmen Club and a one time member of the New Prague Golf Club. He enjoyed golf in his leisure time. Dick is survived by special friend, Juanita Novak, Roseville; daughters, Lindsay (Matt) Mauritz, Litchfield, and Jamie McMahon (fiance, Michael Mohlin, Jr.), Shakopee; parents, Harold and Terry McMahon, New Prague; siblings, Peg McMahon (life partner, Eric Moses), Big Fork, Jim (Linda) McMahon, Prior Lake, Bob (Peggy) McMahon, Ladysmith, WI, Dave (Diane) McMahon, Tomahawk, WI, Betty (Tom) Murphy, Underwood; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague with Father Dave Barrett officiating.
Visitation will take place two hours prior to service.
Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, with Matt Mauritz and Mike Mohlin, Jr. serving as urn bearers.
