District holds groundbreaking for CEC

While construction work has been going on for several months at the New Prague Area Schools Central Education campus, the district held an official groundbreaking for the project Wednesday, June 29. The groundbreaking was held on the north side of the building, where crews will start working on the indoor pool addition in the next week. Superintendent Tim Dittberner and Mayor Chuck Nickolay spoke during the ceremony. Dignitaries taking part in the groundbreaking included School District and City officials as well as members of the schools' swim team and a lifeguard from the Community Pool.
