Elko earns state tourney berth
Elko defeated Red Wing in two games to win a best-of-three series and qualify for the State Class B Amateur Baseball Tournament.
The Express defeated the Aces 9-4 on Friday in Elko and 5-2 Sunday in Red Wing to claim the spot.
Miesville, Dundas and Northfield also swept their playoff series and have qualified for the State Tournament from Section 1B
