Elko Speedway liquor licenses to be combined
The Elko New Market City Council at its Thursday, Oct. 13, meeting instructed city staff to create an ordinance that will combine Elko Speedway and Champions Bar’s liquor license into one. Champions Bar is part of the Speedway and the owner was requesting the change due to the cost of paying for two liquor licenses. The proposed ordinance is expected to be presented to the council at its Thursday, Oct. 27, meeting. For more see an upcoming issue of The New Prague Times.
