ENM Chamber of Commerce welcomes new employee
The Elko New Market Chamber of Commerce has a new employee to help with the economic vitality of the Scott County community. The Chamber recently hired Erin Smith as its parttime executive administrative assistant.
Born and raised in Fargo, ND, Smith has been a resident of Elko New Market since 2012. She and her family were drawn to Elko New Market because of the small town rural setting with proximity to world class healthcare and great schools. “I believe we live in a phenomenal community with salt of the earth people. I cannot stress enough how fortunate we are to live in Elko New Market,” said Smith. She and her husband, Greg, have three children.
“Elko New Market is the second fastest growing city in Minnesota and I am excited to be part of that growth. With the addition of the new Commerce Center building, which will become the new location of New Market Bank and a Chinese restaurant - I hope to see more community involvement to bring new businesses to the area,” she said. “I plan to grow the Elko New Market Chamber of Commerce membership base in order to continue contributing to the economic vitality of Elko New Market.”
