ENM Council approves land purchase
The Elko New Market City Council unanimously approved the purchase of the Shea property during its Thursday, March 9, meeting. The land is north of Main Street (Scott County Road 2) and the main reason for its purchase is to preserve the area for a future street right-of-way. The purchase agreement is for $84,000, with funds to come from the Economic Development Fund. For more see an upcoming print issue of The New Prague Times.
