ENM Council opts out of state ordinance
The Elko New Market City Council unanimously approved an amendment to opt out of a state ordinance at its Thursday, July 28, meeting. The ordinance is for temporary health care dwellings. Interpretations of the ordinance could allow seniors, or others, to live in recreational vehicles on a relative’s property. The majority of cities around Minnesota have been deciding to not participate in the ordinance. For more see the Thursday, Aug. 4, print edition of The New Prague Times.
