ENM finalizes 2014 budget
The Elko New Market City Council reviewed the final draft of its 2014 budget at its Thursday, Dec. 5, meeting. The council also held its Truth in Taxation public hearing at the December 5 meeting with no one in attendance.
The final draft proposes a gross levy of nearly $1.9 million, a decrease of $5,184 from the preliminary levy. The council will adopt the budget at its Thursday, Dec. 19, meeting. Read more in the Thursday, Dec. 12, edition of The New Prague Times.
