ESPN and Make-A-Wish grant Lonsdale youth his baseball wish

Fifteen year old Matt Vosejpka, son of Larry and Shelly Vosejpka of Lonsdale, has been battling ALL, a form of leukemia, for nearly a year.

Matt applied through the Make-a-Wish Foundation to meet baseball legend Roger Clemens and ESPN picked up his story and sent a camera crew to capture his Town-and-Country league baseball game in Lonsdale on Sunday, June 18.

ESPN anchorman Chris Connelly visited the Vosejpka family at their home on Monday, June 19 to meet and interview Matt for the special series ESPN is airing about Matt’s battle with cancer and love for baseball.

Matt and his family traveled to Houston, TX, to meet with Clemens on Tuesday, June 20. Matt’s story is expected to air on ESPN some time in July.
