Frank Pekarna, 84, of Jordan, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at St. Gertrude’s Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Shakopee. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 210 North Broadway, Jordan. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 104 West First Street, Jordan, and one and one-half hours prior to the Mass at the church. An obituary will appear in the May 2, 2013, editions of The New Prague Times and Montgomery Messenger.
