Friday's Trojan results

Alex Woyda scored with 22 seconds left in regulation to give New Prague a 5-4 win over Chaska in a Missota Conference boys hockey game Friday. Sophomore goaltender Evan Bisek, in his first varsity start, got the win. New Prague (2-4, 1-0 Missota) plays at Faribault Tuesday, Dec. 21.

The Trojan boys basketball team came from behind in the final minutes to defeat Rochester Mayo 57-52. Jed Kreuser had 12 points for the Trojans, Sergio Najera and Cale Gerten 11 and Joe Hatch 10. New Prague (5-0, No. 6 Class AAA) plays at Austin Tuesday, Dec. 21.

The Trojan wrestling team split a pair of matches in Olivia Friday, defeating BOLD 45-27 and losing to Paynesville 36-29. Griffin Parriott, Trevor Westerlund, James Berg, Morgan Parriott, Dakota Cole and Nathan Preston all won two matches. New Prague (7-4) will travel to Le Sueur Tuesday, Dec. 21, for a triangular with Le Sueur-Henderson and Blue Earth.
