Grizzlies open with two wins

The WEM/JWP Grizzliy wrestling team opened the 2016-17 season with a pair of wins Thursday, Dec. 1 in Le Sueur. The Grizzlies defeated Le Sueur-Henderson 41-33 and Waseca 52-23. They also competed Saturday, Dec. 3 in the Dick Maher Blue Earth Area Invitational, placing seventh overall. Braydon Johnson won the 138 pound weight class championship.
