Grizzlies split four duals

The WEM/JWP Grizzly wrestling team split four matches last week and also competed in the Mike Fasnacht Memorial Tourney. The Grizzlies defeated Madelia (70-6) and St. James Area (42-29). They lost to Wabasso-Red Rock Central (44-31) and Westfield (42-34). WEM/JWP placed sixth in the eight-team memorial tourney Saturday, Feb. 3 in Janesville. Shakopee edged Chatfield for the team title. Will Storch (195 pounds) place second. Placing third were Tucker Rients (120), Braydon Johnson (145), Adam Rients (152), Jaden Taylor (182) and Jacob Karsten (285).
