Gymnasts tumble past Chargers in finale
The New Prague Trojan gymnastics team had an easy time in their regular season finale, defeating Dassel-Cokato 138.475- 124.85.
The Trojans will compete in the Section 2AA meet at Twin Oaks Middle School in Prior Lake Friday, Feb. 17, at 5 p.m. Seven teams will be competing. The top team advances to the State Class AA team meet Friday, Feb. 24, at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion. The top four finishers in each individual event and in the all-around will compete in the State Individual meet Saturday, Feb. 25, also at the Sports Pavilion.
Trojans 138.475, Chargers 124.85 New Prague had the top two spots and four of the top five scores in each event as they won their final Wright County Conference meet of the season over Dassel-Cokato Thursday, Feb. 9, at the New Prague Gymnastics Center.
