Homecoming win

The WEM football team improved to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the Blue Sub-District after defeating NRHEG 25-22 Friday, Sept. 29 in the annual Homecoming Game. The Bucs recorded a rarity in high school football, scoring a safety and a field goal in the same game. Taylor Glende scored two rushing touchdowns and Tanner Ranslow caught a touchdown pass from Grant McBroom. Will Storch kicked a field goal and Blake Reid and Levi Wolter tackled Perry Peterson for a safety. WEM will play Le Sueur-Henderson at Le Sueur Friday, Oct. 6.
