Joseph M. Sand Sr. (Joe Sr.), age 90, of Shakopee, passed away on September 6, 2013, surrounded by family.

Preceded in death by wife, Grace; parents, Mathias and Margaret Sand; three brothers and four sisters. Joe is survived by children, Joe Sand Jr. (Marla), Mark Sand (Lee), Jeff Sand (Jill), Nancy Fay (Steve), Cindy Meyer (Mick) and Sue Meyer (Bob); 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Bendzick and Rita Peters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 350 South Atwood St., Shakopee, MN, 55379.

Visitation from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Church. Memorials preferred to Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice House. Cremation Society of MN (952) 924-4100.
