Juanita Factor, 79

Juanita R. Factor, 79, of Montgomery, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.

Juanita was born April 18, 1931, in New Prague, a daughter of Louis and Mary (Jedike) Factor. She attended St. Raphael's Catholic School, graduated from Montgomery High School and attended St. Cloud State College for two years. Following school she worked as a bookkeeper for the Chevrolet dealership in Montgomery, and for the past 24 years at Belle Plaine Block & Tile. She was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the CCW, the Montgomery Czech Singers and the Belle Plaine American Legion Auxiliary. Juanita enjoyed her family and friends, old time music, bus rides to the casinos and shopping. She kept people laughing and smiling with her sense of humor.

She is survived by a daughter Mary Gayle (Keith) Heitkamp, Belle Plaine; granddaughters Amy (Tom) Gardner, Shakopee and Sara Heitkamp, Belle Plaine; and two great-granddaughters Anakka Heitkamp and Elizabeth Gardner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and special friend Jack Reak.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m., at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, with Rev. Cory Rohlfing officiating.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery. Casketbearers were Jerry Janda, Garry Janda, Nylen Braun, Dan Blaschko, Dennis Tikalsky and Randy Blaschko.

Visitation was held Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Keohen Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, and also at the funeral home one hour prior to the Mass on Monday. The Belle Plaine American Legion Auxiliary conducted a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday.
