Juveniles admit to vandalism at NPHS
Four juveniles admitted to vandalism done around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, to New Prague High School and the skate park at New Prague’s Sliding Hill Skate Park.
New Prague Police Chief Mark Vosejpka explained police received a report from the school at 6:45 a.m. June 11. The vandalism included profanity spray painted on the concrete at the skate park and a reference to the Burnsville High School mascot. On the northeast corner of the high school profanity was spray painted on glass doors and brick walls and some glass windows and doors were broken. The spray paint has been removed and the windows have been boarded up.
After an investigation, police found that a Burnsville student lived at a rural New Prague residence. Police contacted the student, who had three friends over, also students at Burnsville. The four were questioned and admitted to the vandalism.
