K of C Building Commission re-elects directors

The 45th annual meeting of the Knights Building Commission, which operates the Knights of Columbus Hall in New Prague, was held Monday evening, Feb. 8, at the K. of C. Hall. The meeting included reports on the 43rd year of operation and an election.

President Larry Entinger chaired the meeting, secretary Don Picka read the minutes of last year's meeting and the treasurer's report reviewing a favorable 2009 financial statement was given by Joseph Pexa Jr.

Over 225 Knights have shares in and comprise the commission.

Five members comprise the board of directors. Entinger and Picka were two board members whose two-year terms were expiring. They were both re-elected by acclamation and without opposition.

Other board members are Pexa, Tom Simek and Harold Shimota.

Lunch and refreshments were served following the meeting.
