Kamish provides sculptures for Blair Classic

Matt Blair, former Minnesota Vikings All-Pro linebacker, hosted his 16th Annual Matt Blair Classic Monday, July 24. The tournament featured the release of a limited edition oil-painted relief sculpture by Paul Kamish of Kamish Studios in New Prague. Four of the pieces were awarded to the top team at the tournament.

The framed 26 x 33 sculptures depict Blair blocking a field goal, as he holds the Vikings all-time record for blocked punts, extra points and field goals with 23.5. Each piece was signed by Blair and signed and numbered by Kamish. The edition size was 59, the number Blair wore as a Viking during his 12-year NFL career.

Kamish has completed similar works for legendary golfers Patty Berg and Sam Snead, baseball legend Ted Williams and others.

The sold-out Matt Blair Classic was held at Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course in Jordan. It benefits Special Olympics Minnesota.
