Knowledge Bowl takes fifth at State

The TCU Platinum Knowledge Bowl Team took on the Minnesota’s top teams at the State Knowledge Bowl Meet held at Cragun's Resort in Brainerd on April 13 and 14.  The Titans ended with a fifth place finish.

“It was great to compete with the state's best teams,” commented Titan Coach Ted Doyle. “Team Platinum did an excellent job at state and have a lot to be proud of.  They have had an excellent season and have been great representatives of TCU.”

There are 492 Class A teams in Minnesota this year. Out of these, only 24 teams qualify for state competition. This is the third time since the consolidation of Montgomery-Lonsdale and Le Center Schools four years ago that the Titans have been participants at the state meet. 

In 2014, the Titans took fourth place, and in 2015, the Titans finished in third place.
