Lady Bucs advance in Sub-Section

The WEM volleyball team opened Section 2A playoff action with a sweep of Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley/East Chain/Truman Thursday, Oct. 26 in Waterville. The Lady Bucs scored a 25-7, 25-13, and 25-19 victory. WEM, 22-8 overall, will play No. 5 seed Madelia (9-20 overall), an upset winner over No. 4 seed Martin County West, in the South Sub-Section semifinals Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. at St. Peter.
