Lady Bucs improve to 8-5

The WEM girls basketball team improved to 8-5 overall with a pair of nonconference wins last week. The Lady Bucs defeated Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton 56-23 Jan. 12 and Le Sueur-Henderson 71-36 January 13. WEM will travel to Blooming Prairie Friday, Jan. 20 in a battle for second place in the Gopher Conference.
