Lambrecht advances to section semifinals

New Prague's Jenna Lambrecht advanced to the semifinals of the Section 2AA tennis tournament with a pair of wins at the Subsection meet Saturday, Oct. 15. 

Lambrecht, seeded No. 2, had a first rond bye, thn defeated Teagan Townsed of Mankato West 6-0, 6-2, and Grace Johnson of Hutchinson 6-4, 7-5 to advance to Tuesday's final rounds. 

Lambrecht will face Bella Lambert of Minnetonka, the state's No. 2-ranked player, in the semifinals. The other semifinal round has Hannah Wang of Mankato East facing Evann Welty of Mound Westonka.
