New events include the first annual Backyard BBQ Contest and a Bake & Take Contest, both to be held on Sunday, August 21. New to the livestock judging schedule will be an Open Class Goat Show immediately following Friday morning's 4-H Goat Show.

Along with numerous commercial exhibits and the unique and interesting 4-H and Open Class entries from livestock and horses, to arts and crafts, homemade baked goods and garden items, there are many returning favorites. Be sure to check out the Free Sweet Corn Feed; Amateur Talent Contest; Kids Pedal Pull; the National Micro Tractor Pull--offering all the sound and fury of regular tractor pulls, but on a "micro" scale; free musical entertainment; the 4-H Pancake Breakfast; 4-H Ribbon Auction; Ranch Rodeo; and the Senior/Century Farms/ Farm Family of the Year Awards Recognition Program.

The Children's Barnyard, found in the Youth Ag Education Building will feature animals and activities including the popular Ag Cab simulator, to delight the younger Fair visitors. Cody Rides will provide carnival rides and games of chance and skill all four days of the fair.

The evening Grandstand features include the Summer's Last Bash Demo Derby wth the Thunder 4x4 Monster Truck on Friday and the Truck and Tractor Pull on Saturday.

Fairgrounds entry is free, however there is a charge for parking on the grounds and for grandstand events.
