Le Sueur County Human Services commended for timely reporting

The commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services has commended the Le Sueur County Human Services Department for exemplary performance in meeting DHS financial reporting requirements for calendar year 2008.

A letter of commendation from Commissioner Cal Ludeman was addressed to County Board Chairman Joe Doherty. A copy of the letter was displayed by Human Services Director Sue Rynda during her monthly report to the board at the regular meeting Tuesday, March 17.

The letter indicated that the human services department submitted 31 of 32 major reports filed on or before the reporting deadlines.
