Ledwein tied for lead after first round at State

New Prague’s Taylor Ledwein is tied for the lead after the first round of the State Class AAA girls golf championships, at Bunker Hills GC in Coon Rapids. 
Ledwein opened at 1-over par on her first nine holes, but shot 2-under on the second nine for a 1-under par 71. Ledwein, a senior and the defending state champion, is tied with Stillwater freshman Cayla Kim. Three others are tied at even-par 72.
Edina, the defending state team champion, has a 19-stroke lead over Forest Lake in the team competition. 
The tournament concludes Wednesday, June 15.
