Linda Stier, 46
Linda C. Stier, 46, of Jordan, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at her home.
Born on August 19, 1964, in Shakopee, Linda was a daughter of Francis and Marie
(Schmidt) Bisek. She graduated from Shakopee High School in 1982. She married Terry Lee Stier on June 5, 1993, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jordan. Enjoying the outdoors, Linda loved camping, horseback riding, fishing and working in her flower gardens. Being a dedicated Minnesota sports fan, she enjoyed cheering on the Twins, Vikings, MN Wild and Timberwolves. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Shakopee School District at Sun Path Elementary. She was also a member of the Jordan Lioness Club. Family was her biggest passion in life. Linda enjoyed the fishing excursions with her husband and loved attending their childrens' school activities and watching their sporting events. She also enjoyed attending the Jordan Fire Department functions and conventions.
She is survived by her husband; children Francis Stier and Barbara Stier; her parents; brothers Charles (Gloria) Bisek, New Prague and Timothy (Megan) Bisek, Shakopee; parents-in-law Louis (Elaine) Stier, Jordan; siblings-in-law Kevin (Sharon) Stier, Prior Lake, Louis (Toni) Stier, Prior Lake, Dennis Stier, Shakopee and Troy (Jennifer) Stier, Jordan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jordan, with Pastor John Meyer officiating.
Interment will be at Spirit Hill Cemetery in Jordan. Pallbearers will be Timothy Bisek, Charles Bisek, Kevin Stier, Louis Stier, Dennis Stier and Troy Stier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Bisek and Derek Bisek.
Visitation was held Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Arrangements are with the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Jordan Chapel.
