'A living snow globe' greets parade-goers

A heavy snowfall did little to dampen the spirits of those along Main Street for the 15th annual Holiday Parade of Lights in New Prague Friday, Dec. 3.

The snow added to the festive atmosphere. Some said the scene resembled a living snow globe as a heavy snowfall came down during the event along Main Street. An estimated 8 to 10 inches of snow fell on Friday, beginning in the afternoon and going into the night.

Despite the weather, a good-sized crowd lined the parade route from Church Street by St.
